Mystery
in the Lake District
The elegant Hydro Hotel in the Lake District is a
perfect venue to spend a weekend investigating a mysterious
murder.
Arrive during the afternoon on a Friday and after checking in
explore the beautiful Victorian hotel and new Hydro Spa.
Join our Murder coordinator for a pre-dinner wine reception in
the magnificent ballroom where Ken and Rose will brief you on the
weekend's events!
During dinner 'things' start happening so arrival in time for
dinner at 7.30 is an essential part of the weekend.
All the drama is held within the Hydro main building with the
exception of a break on Saturday afternoon when you are free to
explore the surrounding area.
After tea is served late in the afternoon the mystery resumes
and then concludes Sunday morning after breakfast.
At the conclusion around 11.00am enjoy the de-brief over coffee
and see if you managed to solve the murder, who
dunnit???

Trouble at Mill

Set in 1919 the first year after the end of the first world war.
The soldiers have returned from the battles of the last class
dominated war. England was to fight and now are expecting a more
open style of management. The workers loyalty is tested as mill
owner Othalthwaite tightens the purse strings. His sister is a
sympathetic ear for the working class but her brothers
tight-fistedness means that there is revolution in the air

Dead and Breakfast
2011 is not a good year here at the Embassy Hotel commercially.
It's guests only stay one night and the owner Mr Chandler is
despaerate to sell bit his mother is not at all ken on the
disposal. The problem appears to be the cupboards, or more
importantly, the skeletons hidden in them! Join us and try to solve
this dark mystery.
