Competition
Winners!
'Margaret and Brian Bell joined us from the Midlands for
the Airshow weekend. Mr Bell has mobility problems so instead of
accommodating them in a balcony suite we used one of our dedicated
disabled bedrooms.
Unfortunately the weather on the Saturday meant that the
only aircraft to grace Bowness with its presence was a Huey which
landed on the Glebe at 10.30am just before the drizzle arrived
which stopped any further flying on Saturday. Sunday dawned grey
but at least we got some flying done. The Red Arrows cancelled at
the last minute apparently they had a temporary fault on the
ejector seat systems on the Hawk aircraft which grounded every
single one of them.
We are already looking forward to next year's show and we
will again be running a competition on this website so hopefully
you will 'have a go'
Regards to you all and thanks to those who
entered.
Ken
Dear Ken, Rose, Family and Staff,
We would like to thank you for an excellent complimentary weekend
at your hotel on the weekend of the air show. This was the second
time we have stayed at your hotel and I am sure we will see you
again some time in the future. Although the weather could have been
better we both had a very good time. You all made us very welcome
and the food was excellent.
Hope to see you all again soon
